For 25 years, Quintiles employees have volunteered their time and resources to numerous and diverse community outreach programs, helping make a positive difference. As our company has grown, so has the scope of potential opportunities and the number of requests for our assistance. Quintiles Cares is a series of initiatives designed to support our activities and programs in community outreach.
Focusing Our Resources
Much like we select certain markets and businesses to focus upon as a company, Quintiles Cares is related to the focus of our philanthropic and community outreach. Based upon our values, our organization and our business, our coporate philanthropic efforts concentrate on three areas:
- Health & Fitness
- Education in Life Sciences & Biostatistics
- Women in Science
Obviously, there is a wide array of organizations and activities that fit into these focus areas. Still, these three broad categories will act as our guide in choosing which organizations, events and ideals we will support.
Requests for Corporate Support
To respond to the large number of requests for assistance we receive, we have created this special Web site – QuintilesCares.com. Organizations seeking support from Quintiles should begin the process here, which helps us evaluate and prioritize the many requests we receive annually. While there are many worthy causes, Quintiles has chosen to focus our community and philanthropic activities in the three core interest areas listed above. We are most interested in supporting programs, initiatives or organizations that have a measurable, positive impact in those areas. All organization requests for corporate support must be submitted using the form located here.
Q&Me: Quintiles’ Employees Matching Gifts Program
In addition to our company initiatives, Quintiles wants to support the causes and programs that are important to our employees. Under the Q&Me matching gifts program, Quintiles will match a total of $250 in qualified contributionsper employee annually (certain restrictions apply). Do you already volunteer for a special organization? If you give them 10 hours of your time during the calendar year, we’ll send a $75 donation in your name.
